Writer: Hoyt Dwyer · Released September 5, 2026

A young Hessian soldier crossing the Atlantic in 1776 begins to hear a siren call him into the sea. The episode treats the voyage not as a battle reenactment but as a ghost story, carrying Rhine folklore out onto the ocean. "The war is the frame. The story is the haunting."

Role

Creative Director across the series (as of 2026), working in the weekly writers' room. Writer on The Siren Song: A Hessian Soldier Haunted at Sea and How Ordinary Men Were Forced Into the King's War.
